Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This page explains what cookies Rare Kind uses, how you can control them, and how to change your mind at any time.
Your current preferences
You haven't recorded a preference yet. The banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept, reject, or choose per-category.
Categories
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working — signing you in, processing payments, and remembering your cookie choices. They are set without consent because the site can't function without them. You can't turn these off here, but you can delete them from your browser settings (which will sign you out).
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-<project-ref>-auth-token | Holds your authenticated session with Supabase. May appear split into .0, .1 chunks if the session value is large. | Rotates while in use; cleared on sign-out |
| rarekind_consent | Records your cookie preferences so we don't show the banner again. | 1 year |
Functional
Remembering preferences like saved sizes, filters you've set on the shop, and recently viewed listings. These cookies don't identify you. They're only set if you opt in.
No functional cookies are currently set. This category is reserved for upcoming features.
Analytics
Aggregated stats on how the site is used — page views, where people click, which filters help people find items. We use this data to improve the site, not to identify individuals. Only set with your consent.
No analytics cookies are currently set. This category will be populated when we enable aggregated analytics.
Marketing
Measuring the effectiveness of ad campaigns and showing you more relevant ads on other sites. Only set with your consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ttp, _tt_enable_cookie | Set by TikTok when you arrive from one of our ads, so TikTok can measure whether the ad led to a sign-up, listing view, or purchase. Loaded only after you accept Marketing cookies; not loaded at all if you reject. | Up to 13 months |
Third-party cookies
During checkout you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page, which sets its own cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention. These are controlled by Stripe; see their cookie settings. Stripe's fraud-prevention cookies are strictly necessary for the payment process to complete.
If you accept Marketing cookies, we also load the TikTok Pixel so TikTok can measure how its ads lead to actions on Rare Kind. The pixel sets cookies on the tiktok.com domain and shares page URL, the action you took (e.g. signed up, completed payment), and a generated visitor ID with TikTok. See TikTok's cookie policy. The pixel is not loaded at all if you reject Marketing.
